Dear Friends,
I am a parent and I have read the mail about fee and performance of Shishukunj School.
I can see many factual mistakes in it.
1. Total fee increase in five years is approx 75% which comes to 12% cumulative increase each year.
2. Both their CBSE board results have been best not only in town but state.
3. Students performance in external exams like Asset etc., has been exceptionally good. This year it was upto 48% above country average in Asset.
4. Shishukunj Students won 3 out of 6 Bal Vigyan Awards by CBSE Sahoday.
5. Their performance in sports also has gone up remarkably.
They stood runner up in recently held Inter School Foot ball and
Skating.
They stood first in Swimming as well.
6. About Teachers : Many best teachers from other school have joined Shishukunj in last few years.
7. FIITJEE has declared Shishukunj as Zonal Topper (overall) school.
Recently EQFI - Education Quality Foundation of India also declared them winner. There were 10000 entries from all over the country.
I think let us talk on fee issue only and do not speak lies about a very good school, which is grooming our children successfully all these years.

I agree. This school is much better than other school in Indore.
ReplyDeletewhy dont ask teachers? their first choice to work is not this school.School has made their own grades, they r not paying 6th pay commission.PF deducted is only 780 rs compare to 3000 minimum as per grades of 6th pay commission.fee hike shd be as per inflation like 10-12%.HOW 28%?QUALITY of education? very subjective, we dont even have a permanent well qualified principal.knowing all the rules regulations.Thakur is the one representing school at all forum.Dave is like super principal.What CBSE rule says?every year we filter the students at level 9th and 11th. why? to show fake and tailor made result?every child ,who has compelted 10th from school has the right to be in 11th.Daly college/DPS nd even sathya sai school has better heads to lead the staff and school.
DeleteI'm sad after putting my daughter here. In 8th and 9th also,there is no spirit of self-discovery AT ALL! English & Hindi,Even Science answers are dictated and the kids have to learn by rote. No new thought is nurtured and I'm feeling sick at the boxing in and drying up of all independant thought in my daughter & son:(
ReplyDeleteHi guys. I saw your comments and decided to contribute. Sishukunj is a very average and mind numbing experience for children. There is absolutely no innovation and interest in being different. They only rely on books and the quality of their students has fallen desperately. Winning some stupid medal in some unknown events should not be given any importance. Your child is not going to be a sportsman. The main thing is the education, and so far the initial hype has carried forward the school.
ReplyDeleteThis school is a typical, bland organization with a business man running the show. Making a new wing to stuff more children? 40 per class? 8+ sections per class? Very below average staff in many subjects?
I'm not sure if some of the opinions expressed are founded from well provided information. The reality is looking different.
Yes I'm agree with this person! My son has not learn any new things in this school. It is too costly and looking like it sinking with lots of students and no quality.
